Life often asks us to wear so many hats — mother, daughter, partner, friend, professional — that we forget the most important one: being ourselves. In the rush of caring for others, our own wellness, joy, and peace can quietly slip to the side.

As young girls we all had dreams, yellow picked fences, prince charming and then life happened.  Sadly life trampled on some of those dreams, and often at some point on the journey we realize that we have lost the essence of our self, we have given it all to our families or careers and in the process we became the perfect mother, the perfect wife , the perfect….

But looking in the mirror, who are you really ?  What was your childhood dream ?  Can you even still face that person looking back at you in the mirror with a smile ?  Do you even like that person ?

12 Weeks to Wellness — a gentle blog series designed especially for women who are ready to slow down, breathe, and rediscover their inner strength and inner person. Over the next twelve weeks, I’ll be sharing simple, heart-centered practices that you can weave into your daily life.

Each week, together we’ll explore a new theme: from morning rituals and gratitude, to understanding emotional triggers, reconnecting with your inner child, and learning the art of forgiveness. These are not heavy “to-do’s” — they’re small, nourishing steps that will help you clear emotional clutter, restore balance, and walk a little lighter.

Think of this as a wellness journey in bite-sized pieces. You don’t need hours of free time or complicated routines. Just a few intentional minutes each day can spark real change.

My hope is that this series becomes your gentle companion — encouraging you to pause, reflect, and begin to see yourself not through the lens of society, stress or duty, but through the light of possibility and peace.
